I try to play Suikoden every few years. It’s the story that made me fall in love with worlds. I was 10, maybe. A large scale world were tensions were high and every person in the game had a place to be and a reason to fight.

Of course it was Junko Kawano herself who updated all the character art for Suikoden I HD Remaster. You can tell how much she knew those characters, these are not redraws or cleanups. It’s a new, amazing, work of love.
