Getting the proletariat to facilitate and celebrate the destruction of their own great institutions, like the NHS and BBC, is a masterful piece of manipulation on the part of the bourgeoisie and their media and political puppets. Well played, fascist pig billionaires.

Looks like ‘Community Notes’ is going to get ‘fixed’ on X. Seems like the guy who is one of the most Community Noted accounts on X, the advocate for free speech, doesn’t like it when his ‘unique takes’ get fact checked. Actually they’re probably Trump’s take.

Nice to not have to see Elon’s increasingly bizarre hourly posts on this platform. Asking any psychologists/psychiatrists…is he suffering some sort of MH episode? Just seems odd for an intellectual & visionary.

Cybertrucks are comically designed death machines, but the fact that the battery apparently survived an explosion in the truck bed without a thermal runaway event bodes pretty darn well for EV batteries more broadly.

PHEVs sound great on paper—flexibility, green credentials—but in practice, they fall short. Without daily charging, they’re just heavy, inefficient vehicles. As BEVs thrive with scaling infrastructure, the hybrid era fades. Automakers stuck on PHEVs risk falling behind. ⚡️🚗

All this ‘what if there’s a power cut?’ stuff being used as an argument AGAINST EVs. Apart from the fact petrol pumps don’t work, here’s the other side of the coin, from Facebook. An EV owner using V2L to keep vital household stuff running.

Messaging on the ZEV mandate in the media is maddening, even the BBC has it wrong. Formulas involve reducing carbon emissions rather than dictating absolute % of ZEV vehicles per mfgr. Disappointed that a vocal minority that failed to plan will cause some rollback.

7. Trump, like many other demagogues, has shown that if you have no shame you cannot be shamed, and you therefore cannot be held to account. Boris Johnson went a long way down this road in the UK. His frightful punishment? Multi-million pound book deals, lecture tours and newspaper columns.

Looks like X is going to explode with a circle jerk of nefarious or gullible ‘call a GE’ petition sorts. I wonder how many of the real UK signers (proof of bots & overseas signers) also voted for Brexit & then used pejorative terms like ‘Remoaner’ or ‘snowflake’ 😆.

We need to start teaching critical thinking in every school so that kids can grow up being able to question, analyse, interpret, evaluate and make a judgement about everything they read and hear. It's probably too late for Reform supporters now though.

Trump’s vote share is now at 49.9% with some votes still being counted. Looks like his margin over Harris will be around 1.5%- the third smallest winning margin since 1888. Trump’s win was solid in the popular vote and electoral college. But it was not a landslide and it was not overwhelming.

I remember the introduction of Euro1 emissions on cars in 1992, meaning all cars would have fuel injection & catalytic converters. Apparently cars would no longer be fixable & worthless when (not if) they went wrong. It’s just like the “what about when the battery dies” refrain thrown at EVs 🤷♂️

This place is coming along nicely. We don’t need an echo chamber. If we can learn from each other and when disagreeing with somebody’s position accept their may be merit in their argument, then it will remain a positive environment. ✌️
