NGC 604 is one of my favorite cosmic objects. The purple shows X-rays from Chandra and the rest is visible and infrared light from Hubble. It's an immense star-forming nebula. How immense? Well, see all that detail? It's in another galaxy*, about 3 MILLION light years away. So yeah it's huge.
