I can't stop thinking about how devastating yesterday's SCOTUS ruling is for Black congressional representation. Black members in the House are already very old and we are about to see a ton of them lose their seats to white Republicans when the maps are redrawn.

The Supreme Court’s decision to gut the remaining protections of the VRA make it even more urgent that Democrats retake Congress and pass strong laws restoring the VRA and banning partisan gerrymandering. Congress needs to reassert its legislative powers against executive and judicial encroachment.
