Back in the 80s I worked at a hotel where we had a long term resident who we did not know had dementia until we had to go in his room for something and found post-it notes from his son everywhere saying things like "this is the bathroom" and "you are in a hotel". Bringing this up for no reason.

Watched Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice and Overlord (2018) tonight. I'd give Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice higher marks, but neither of them really thrilled me. Trying to decide what to watch for Halloween night. (No parties & no trick-or-treaters.) Thinking Hocus Pocus, Rocky Horror, & maybe Tremors?

Wish more people (including myself) would be sure to mention the screenwriter(s) when discussing movies. All too often, the director is the only one referenced. That's like attributing a comic/graphic novel only to the writer & not talking about the artist. (Like "Alan Moore's WATCHMEN.")

Halloween 1968. (Yes, I'm that old.) Tow-headed young Paul dressed up as Superman. Supes wasn't my favorite hero, but at least this costume tried to replicate the comics version. So many were weirdly altered or had the character's name on the upper chest.

I've read that many of those involved were disappointed with how CURSED (2005) turned out, but I enjoy it. Not a great film, but fun.
