The host then complained about "safe", "woke remakes" and wondered what the last prominent Disney films were similar to the ones "we all grew up on" (um, "Encanto" and "Moana" say "hi?").

He also called Netflix "cable," despite that it's, well, not. (And popular in part *because* it's not cable). Surprised to hear a politician use the phrase "claymation" (maybe he meant "CGI," which "Dead End" isn't, or doesn't know what to make of or call modern animation art styles).

One advantage of Bluesky is anyone can set up their own BS server using its AT Protocol and still talk to their friends. But as I've noted before, there's relatively little uptake for this, and few other such servers (one reason Bluesky is "easy to use" vs Mastodon: almost all just one server).

I wish I had a suitable answer for this instead of "Everyone flee to YouTube!" We've become so used to digital malls that the quaint downtown vibe of blogrolls and message boards are obsolete.
