I'll say this for the defunct Sci-Fi Universe magazine*, I appreciated the lengthy Deep Space Nine season breakdowns they released just prior to an upcoming season. *Unless it was another era-appropriate science fiction infotainment magazine available at your local Waldenbooks magazine section.

Not to wade into the other thread, but I always felt this was the ground zero for the "ROTJ sucks" reaction. I guess Clerks was first, but beyond "a bunch of Muppets" it really didn't give an itemized list of perceived grievances.

I'm pretty sure the reason why I never really connected with the first Superman/Spider-Man team-up was the decade between its release and when I would eventually read it. Years of anticipation building it up in my head thanks to the house ads appearing in various comics I read during this time.

It's really neat when the eye doctor accidentally enters some information incorrectly into their system leaving me to wonder if I have a serious problem with my eyes. The mistake was corrected, but I am counting those thirty stressful minutes as cardio.

I kind of am tired of superheroes with no supporting casts, just more villains and heroes.

The best era of Superman was when the supporting cast was not only developed but massive. When there were people at NEWSTIME and the MCU who had running stories in addition to all the staffers at the Daily Planet. Stories need supporting characters! A book called SUPERMAN shouldn’t just be Superman

On the one hand, I am pleasantly surprised this exists. On the other hand, I’m disappointed there isn’t a color photo section bound into the middle of this thing.
