I love how in iOS 26 they changed the close button from an “X” to a check mark, except for sometimes when the close button is an “X” and there’s another check mark button that does something different. As I get older, dealing with these little mental challenges regularly keeps me sharp!

Worth it.

I just opened WorkFlowy and saw: "You’ve used WorkFlowy for 775 weeks." Kinda wild—been tracking things in the same tool for almost 15 years.

I had a similar experience. Obviously public transit should be the first priority, but there's a place for 1-6 person vehicles in transit, and my experience of Waymo in SF a few weeks ago was kind-of astonishingly good.

I had a chance to read an early copy of this, and it was great then but even better with more refinement. Sam spends so much time getting these right. It’s 100% worth the read. Days after reading this, I managed to refactor an O(n) function to O(log n) which was soooo satisfying!
