The Epstein email website racked up a $46,485.99 Vercel bill Everyone said 1. Use Cloudflare 2. I could host this on a VPS for a ham sandwich I dug into the site to see what could be causing this and if it would be cheaper or even possible with 450MM page views

Someone on reddit posted a demo where CSS truncates text from the middle. They didn't post the code, so here is my shot at it with Flexbox

Here’s a recreation of Wes’s demo that also shows the “Inset-Modified Containing Block” (IMCB) when hovering an anchored item. The IMCB is shown in hotpink.
codepen.io/bramus/pen/r...
Within that IMCB, you can use align-self / justify-self to position the blue box within it.

(Why)? does CSS anchor not have a position-area for the inside corners? You need to switch to a totally different approach using inset values if you need that. As far as I understand position-area is a helper for common uses. Must have a reason?

did something change with CSS anchor position-try-fallback? My demos where the tooltip flipped inline don't seem to work. Other demos seem to flip, but not flip back when space is available

Obfuscating text with local LLMs + CSS highlight API needed a way after having to blur my address in the Pizza video Uses Chrome's experimental LanguageModel API to prompt a local v3Nano Kinda slow, but makes me think of new possibilities when prompting on-device will be fast + free + private

🔥 AI dev tip Use Ollama to easily run models like Deepseek-r1 or Gemma locally on your machine. It downloads them and spins up a server with an OpenAI SDK compatible API The smaller models are fast and good enough to work on new features or debug streaming without having to pay for API requests
