IDEA: Venues that insist on taking a merch cut from artists need to set up their own table next to the artist's merch table to collect their venue % directly. They have to hire a person, have their own square terminal... make them do the work to collect this ransom. Seems fair.

Went to the movie theatre last night to see the 50th Anniversary reissue of Jaws. Go check it out if it's playing near you. It looks and sounds incredible. I was blown away by the scale of it on the big screen. The old cliche rings true... They don't make 'em like that anymore. A timeless classic.
