David has just taken an injured jackdaw to the wildlife hospital who have sent him to a local vet. I helped him to get it into the box. I think it might have to be euthanised. 😥

It's 3.30am. I went to the loo (maybe 9 or 10 steps, idk) with nil dogs. I came back from the loo with two dogs. Mine, luckily - at least I think they are, it's dark?

Thank you #UglyDogs for all my lovely birthday wishes! We might have postponed a motorhome adventure, but we took the dogs for beach swimmies in the morning to cool down, and now we're on our way to have a wander around fancy gardens this evening.

Some photos from the dogs adventure to my niece's birthday. They were fairly well behaved and resisted the mountain of wrapping paper. Leads on due to all my mum's ceramics being out for the art trail. They left due to barking at bubbles, but would have had to go before 🔥/smores anyway. #UglyDogs

Not sure why I've been feeling so fed up lately but I definitely need to get my act together as the birthday train keeps on chugging along.

I don't think we adequately explained the lengths Clara will go to to finish Dexter's dinner. We had said she can only eat the leftovers if it's a tiny bit, otherwise it's not good for either of them. So my sister said no. And Clara sat vigil for 15-20 minutes. MAH BABY 😭😭😭

We escaped Birmingham. Motorhome stage 1 - Cumbria/Yorkshire Dales complete. Now for a chippy tea in Sedbergh before we settle for the night.

x7 injections completed. Only part of my treatment, will need to go back on the waiting list for the rest, apparently.i This was one of my top ten most painful experiences. I am okay and don't seem to have had a bad reaction, but I'm mostly in shutdown. Let's see how it goes. Love to you all 💚

So the motorhome has broken down ☹️

This year's #kakapo breeding season has been the biggest on record: - 256 eggs (252 in 2019) - 148 fertile eggs (116 in 2019) - 105 eggs hatched (86 in 2019). It'll be 2+ months until we know how many chicks will fledge (73 in 2019). There are currently 95 alive. #conservation #kakapo2026 #birds

An Easter basket filled with spring flowers was the perfect gift for Linne’s two-toed sloths, Flo, Reggie and Bobbin! They love camellias and will eat the entire flower head!

My new striped yeen pins just arrived! I’m so happy with how well they go as a set with the spotted yeen 🤩 I’ll be bringing these to Confuzzled! 🐾
