There's some bad information going around on what's happening with #usps postmarks. It's mostly a misunderstanding about a complicated issue, but we also see some orgs fundraising on half-truths for projects that aren't clearly supporting real campaigns for postal workers or the Post Office. 🧵1/8

This is a good breakdown of what's happened with postmarks, which were never guaranteed the same day. But service slowdowns in 2021 and 2025 mean a mail piece is less likely to get a postmark the same day for many people. So, return your ballot early and fight to expand #USPS services.
