Sorry, re-posting because I accidentally mentioned the wrong stat. If your kid starts smoking in front of you and smokes their whole life, they have *15%* of developing lung cancer. If an adult gets three covid infections - just three - their risk of developing Long Covid is up to 40%

Whatever you do, please don’t stop reading. Read for joy. Read for education. Read for resistance. Read banned books. Read books by marginalized authors. Read about experiences that differ from your own. Just. Keep. Reading.

Ugh. Canadian content creators making posts about their quick trip to Trader Joes. How about staying on this side of the border and supporting Canadian businesses instead? How about not supporting a fascist regime?

1/ I don’t know how to say this without sounding harsh, but I need you to hear it. COVID — or SARS-2 — is not “just another cold.” It doesn’t leave you the same. Every reinfection stacks damage: brain, heart, immune system.

Is this 🇨🇦 data correct??? Disability among 15-24 yo ⬆️ 54% ? Disability among 25-54 yo ⬆️ 33% ? And that data is 2 years old? So things may be worse in 2024? Two years after The Great Unmasking, aka "let 'er rip"? Huh 🤔
