ai in fanfictions hurts genuine authors too. i have been accused of using ai in my fics because apparently my writing style changed too much since 2020 (when my first fics where posted). i deleted that fic instantly because i won't be getting stressed over something that i do for fun!

100% agree. People who post AI-generated fic want the praise and attention that comes from creating something without any of the hard work. Lazy, clout-chasing loser behavior.
