How can we reach an 80% employment target? The Gvt have set this ambition (the blue dotted line in the chart below). Dividing workers into age groups makes very clear it is workers under 25 and over 50 who need to be the primary focus of action if we are to reach an 80% target overall.

Would you take to the streets about your state pension? They have in France, and I think in the UK we too need to fundamentally rethink our social contract about work and retirement. I’ve explained why I think that in this blog medium.com/@catherine_f...
