And we're back, with more space and required permissions for the app to post to @bsky.app. Neat. Still makes the Oauth perms screen a bit scary looking.

Guess I'll pull the trigger and add space to my instance. Bringing the apps down for now while that happens. Should I back up first? Nah! #yolo

The only issue with admin'ing my own box is watching that limited file storage. I might need to bump up to the next size.

I should do some work on @bitcasterradio.com this evening. Take a break and listen to some tunes. I wonder if I can add a scrobble to it, though I guess I don't always listen, only stream on @stream.place.

Went completely overboard and hooked up Prometheus and Grafana to my app. #overkill #sysadmin Old skewl like too, no Docker containers anywhere... yet.

Rather than have a separate docs website, I decided to use a directory of Markdown files with some images and convert them on the fly to HTML. Basic docs are coming later today! #dev #improvements

v0.4.3-e3085f7 is live, I really need to work on getting some artists and users lol

Added an upgrade button to account settings so users can upgrade to artists, and we don't have to do it for them. #dev

Replaced in production file storage with S3! Feels more like my app is a grown-up now lol.

Should have both sites updated to v0.4.0 this evening. Possibly v0.4.1, as I want to implement something for better releases rather than just cutting over to the new version.

I really need to get looking for someone to actually test uploading. Maybe I should get the payment system finished though.

Small fix this morning around using different GTM accounts depending on if we're in prod or not.

I guess I'll continue working on the next phase of the upload system and listen to some music.

Not my smoothest deploy but we now have an empty site running "in production" and the prototype site running the same version, v0.3.0-a33e581, ready to be prompted to being our "beta" instance. ongaku.club lives! Sort of!

OK. I think the upload branch of the project might be ready to #merge. It contains more than just uploading; I added a bit of backend management to make life easier down the road. #development

Seems pretty easy to add an embed to the #bsky app source. The problem is, it looks like a number of them don't get merged. I mean, I guess I get it — you shouldn't support everything... should you? #opensource

CSS was a mistake!!! Hate fighting with it sometimes.

Startinng to look like a "real" site with the release of v0.2.3-38b5195 to the prototype domain. Yet more work to be done.

Just a braindump of where we are at with the site and where we are going. I forgot to add that I need to prep the main domain for its big debut. The current prototype domain will probably move to be a "beta" domain, and we'll release there first before pushing to prod. More things to think about!

Dang it! When I first created this account I saw a post from a Gameboy #music artist and I didn't follow it seems, and now I can't find them! Was gonna ask if they would put the album up on the site to help me test uploading. #thesearchcontinues

I think uploading is working pretty well.

Lots of background work this evening. Added a functioning system for labels and/or artists to be able to upload albums into the system. I wonder if I should scour @bsky.app looking for #artists or #recordlabels who might be willing to test before the payment system is live. #hopesanddreams #dev
