The Klingon style and language focus was a highlight of DSC S1. L'Rell & T'Kuvma are outstanding - their stories ended too early. The Klingons were undermined by the newly complex & unexplained physical appearance (inc. by me) & perhaps but the fact that subtitles were required (I loved it!)

Reread 'Star Trek: Year Five', IMO the best #TrekComic series of the IDW era. TOS with a DS9 style continuity and series arc that is far superior to anything we have seen on screen. Characters new & old shine. Solid frontier family theme. Awesome sci-fi. Might be my favourite comic ever #BrightEyes

Amazingly, 59 years later, George is starring in new Star Trek, released today, as the Captain of the Excelsior in the awesome Star Trek Khan. Mind-boggling and fantastic!

Really looking forward to Seeds of Salvation #2. The art is especially good - I love the slightly stylised, cartoon versions of the crew. Plus there's an awesome looking android and the threat of ancient madness from beyond the bounds of knowable reality.
