currently reading: The Darkness. one of the earliest comics i fell in love with because of my edgelord tendencies. think it's still really solid! silvestri's art was *made* for the 90s and garth ennis has such skill at writing character voice that i can forgive a lot of the cheese.

DMC2 is unique among bad games in that it isn't fun to play with friends watching. Sonic 06 is a goddamn party game with friends around. Big Rigs is a riot. DMC2 is akin to casting an ancient sleeping spell on anyone in the room.

reading the Invisibles, and i am a massive Grant Morrison fan but the first half of this book is just not doing it for me. incredible first issue, great hook, but then it just spins its wheels for issue after issue. Dane hangs out with a homeless guy for 300 million pages my god.
