In the current gamedev environment where teams and project scope need to be smaller, I hope they don't do the toxic overoptimistic thing again where they ask for generalists. I've been a one person art department before and it sucked not getting the support I needed while someone blew 60k on FONTS.

Combat animations is quickly becoming one of my favourite things to learn. It's really rewarding thinking about the speed, feeling of impact, low or high anticipation ect Extra points when I'm allowed to try and suggest alternative animations to the same brief. Strong teams that trust you are just 👌
