After running a Windows 10 update, my server PC suddenly stopped recognizing 4 of my SSD drives. When I remove them I can still mount them and see the data on my mac so the drives aren't dead. I'm glad I didn't lose any data, but I have no idea what's going on. Ordered new SATA cables 😭

#boysGoToJupiter was a wonderfully odd film. It didn't really seem to go anywhere, but I'm not sure that it needed to. It was like a vignette of subdued teenage angst. In the Q&A, the director described it as a "shoegaze film" and I could kind of get that (despite the absence of shoegaze music).

When it comes to synths, software is incredibly capable but holy cow, I find myself diving a lot more into the sound design process when working on an actual hardware synth. For some reason it feels different than using a MIDI controller and plugin. I can't explain it. #musiciansky #synth
