More context: Our tracker (grant-watch.us) currently lists 877 terminated NIH grants. We have 820 rows in the tracker, but some rows list multiple grants. As of yesterday, NIH RePORTER listed 807 NIH grants specifically at Harvard. So we're looking at over 1600 formally terminated NIH grants now.

Of late I've tried to remain circumspect in my social media posts, but looking in detail at these arts funding cuts I am officially ENRAGED. They are relatively tiny amounts that would make a huge impact to individual organizations. I am disgusted by those making the cuts; a pox on all their houses

All NIH and NSF grants for my entire team--and for all of Harvard, I guess?--have been terminated. As provocative as that sounds, the practical effect is probably not much. Everything was already frozen. 🤷‍♂️ On the upside, it makes tracking terminated grants easier. No more guesswork at Harvard!

I hope he gets a good grilling about gutting grants.
