former gallery worker, this is 100% true. it's absolutely infuriating to have to go digging through an artist's mystery social media account to verify piece details or gather pictures for a pitch to the director.

this reminds me, one of my most fun painting commissions was of a passed dog for a friend of mine. unfortunately, the only remaining picture she had of him was a 3" inkjet printout. i did a bunch of research on dog forums in order to find the references i needed to colorize and scale it up.

been thickening my coffee with xanthan gum for two months now, and have observed that i subconsciously drink thicker liquids more slowly--sipping rather than gulping--and this has led to a reduction in my sugar intake. with adhd, you sometimes have to trick the body into better habits.
