Wow, this is an incredible piece of gaming history. Somebody bought (at full price, no less) a copy of Wood Cup Carnival, with what we'd expect to be *their Christmas money*, on the tenth of January 1987, over six months AFTER the Mexico '86 world cup had finished. Ridiculous stuff.

An old one today, Mean City on c64. The art shows the resolve of presumably a mutant society on a distant planet. Despite brutalist architecture, odd headwear and his mate's car that he thinks is a space BMW this guy is still a chipper crack head. A masterpiece right here.

The cool thing about Evil Night in the arcade was not only that it was three player, but players one and three had pistols whilst player two had a pump action shotgun. Being that it was three player and had a similar shotgun, I always thought it was the sequel to Crypt Killer.
