A6: Perhaps, a 'Victorious Future' is one wherein we, as individuals & collectives, remain committed to asking "Whose future? Who is benefitting? Who isn't? What needs to change to remedy this?" and continually refine the structures, systems, and practices that move society forward

I'm curious about how transnational gaming not only creates translingual spaces but also spacing to develop sociocultural competency through dialogue.

Equally important here is how second-language English users in gaming spaces are not just "speaking" the language, but reclaiming it for themselves.

I think one of the key elements here is the possibilities for language reinvention that happen in these "zero gravity" spaces! Gamers as second-language users mold the language in increasingly creative ways, for example.

A3 1/3: As the obvious statement, digital spaces are already multilingual! In the US context, which I know is different from LSP's context, using an English-only or monolingual approach narrows the true scope of

being used by multilingual people who represent the global majority.

A1. I think about how “victory” can signify many different things depending on the context. Victory can suggest a binary between winners/losers in competitive gaming. I’m curious how cooperative gaming methods might help redefine how “victory” can look in learning environments.
