The pre-fest gallery night for Phoenix Zine Fest was such a balm. My friends keep me alive with their art and their care. I love everyone so much.

I had an incredible time at Phoenix Zine Fest this weekend! It was a blast to vend yesterday and volunteer today. I've manage to add 40 new zines to my collection, most are trades, and can't wait to look through them this week. 🥰

Day 2 of zine fest is a wrap with over 400 attendees, all the vendors showed, and our chair and table rental showed up perfectly! Huge shout outs to the community! Including organizing, volunteer, intern and community security teams, the vendors, our venue hosts, sponsors, and friends!

Also if I seem weird or aloof at my zine fest table, I'm not trying to be a bitch, I just have really bad auditory processing and I cannot hear you, even after you kindly repeat yourself. 😬

Day 1 of zine fest was absolutely amazing with over 450 visitors, all the vendors showing up, and no major issues! I didn't take a single photo so I'll be sure to do that today! Day 2 starts in a few hours and goes from 11-4p!

Today, the art show for PHX Zine Fest opens and I'm so incredibly excited!! Then tomorrow, we welcome 80+ vendors and hundreds of visitors to the PHX Zine Fest in Tempe! 🎉🎉

I'm laying in bed folding the zines I'm launching at zine fest and I'm so excited and happy to share them with people! I'll probably launch them here tomorrow so you can see them too :)

People should absolutely be writing about how ICE's occupation of their cities is transforming life in these places, and they should be publishing it in print on paper - not just social media posts. There needs to be a record of this. Things are changing in measurable ways for the worse every day.

Today: finished printing 200 zines, finished installing the PZF art show, and sent out the vendor packets. Tomorrow: submit a grant application and have an accounting meeting while laying in bed. Just a few more days until fest!

After my chiropractor put both my shoulders back in place, realigned my neck, put my ribs back where they belonged, and flattened my sternum again, she told me I need to "focus on relaxing." All I could do was laugh and cry in response.

Today starts the PHX Zine Fest print marathon at our print studio and I'm anticipating printing around 500 zines over Thurs-Sat. I'll keep you updated on counts!

Above all, I hope we inspire people to autonomously launch they're own projects. No need to pitch things to us like we're gd shark tank, just do it, just launch it. We are never here to say yes or no, you are in charge of your own creations and destiny my friends. We simply distro it. :)

To celebrate my birthday, I spent the day printing ~200 copies of the 11 zines I've published since 2020. I'm tabling my own half table of zines at PZF which feels surreal cuz I'm always lovingly tabling wizd zines. We'll still have those too, but a friend kindly reminded me that I'm a zinester too!

I was working on the PHX Zine Fest volunteer schedule today and it was making me so happy to see so many returning and new faces! We have a huge group of volunteers and I'm so thankful! Can't wait for fest!
