Today I was denied entry to the whipple building to assist and observe a family with an immigration hearing after a judge had told me I could attend.

Caught up on new season of The Pitt. Flashing back & finally processing my feelings about those weeks when I had to repetitively break the news of Dad's passing to my mother, who had dementia. Had to take her to ER evening of funeral. Saw same doc who'd treated Dad week before. I'm OK & also not.

I commented on what a terrible idea this is but now I wonder if it's a deliberate attack on the citizenship of our indigenous neighbors. They weren't granted US citizenship until 1924 & were still fighting for their right to vote in the 1960s. Their right to vote is also contained in the VRA.
