So the house is going to vote unanimously to release the files, but not before house Repubs insisting the Senate Repubs votes against releasing them and insinuating they can’t all be released due to national security reasons. So they have no intentions of ever releasing them.🖕🏻😡

The Democratic Party is historically unpopular with its own voters. Caving to Trump and getting nothing in return will only bring these numbers down further. It’s a historic failure—and an opportunity to push for changes to the electoral system.

Tonight’s Senate vote on the federal government shutdown should have been a time for strength. Instead we saw capitulation and a betrayal of working Americans. The American people need more from their leaders.
