Wow, I really wasn't expecting this to blow up. But, John Hubley's work I might check out more of. I only saw a snippet of his stuff. But I know I respect it a lot. I think a lot of challenging directors I tend to enjoy. Sergio, John Hubley, Anno, Hayao Miyazaki, David Lynch.

I like the vibe a lot of the colors, shapes, and aesthetics convey. Along with the voice acting feeling so, real. Not acting, but just. Feeling like these are real people. Very awkward, but charming and endearing. The other shorts I saw have a lot of the same qualities. Also it's a great read imo.

It's funny. When I watched Rocko it really reminded me a lot why I loved Classic Spongebob. Despite it being a show I watched YEARS AND YEARS later. My motto is, don't divide yourself from the classics before you. Or, the things that come after. Just, kinda give it a shot and see what you vibe with.
