My biggest problem with dominate male personalities is that they have a habit--often without them realizing it--of bullying someone they like or treating them like they're a younger brother. I'm guilty of doing it myself sometimes but it just rubs the wrong way.

I'm so tired of working. I want to be somewhere where you can work to better yourself or earn more but your basic needs are met. Employment is tied in with crucial life benefits (health insurance, retirement, etc). It shouldn't be this way.

Just watched "Return to Silent Hill". Metacritic has a review of like 31 at the time of this writing so I wasn't expecting much. It actually ended up being pretty freaking good. I do agree, the acting does show some cracks at certain parts but overall, I enjoyed the movie.

Well, that was an evening I should've spent reading.

The aftermath, from one bad social episode, really shows you who your actual friends are. Not that I thought most of them were really my friends anyway. They belonged to someone else. I'm still angry about it and it's time to focus that energy into something constructive, like going to the gym.

I got incredibly bummed out last night. I think the realization hit me that the social circles I had built up (on VRC) all encompass an individual who has mistreated me so badly that I can't stand to be in the same instance as them anymore. I've already blocked them, for my own sanity.
