Just finished I Am Raven by @alastairc.com from @nosycrow.bsky.social and I think it's 'a better than the first in the series' kind of book. I really enjoyed the world opening up and some questions getting answered. Building to a great climax for book 3! I can't wait. Highly recommend. #KidLitUk

What a great day yesterday. Had the pleasure of leading a whole school reading assembly. I chose to share this absolute delight. Children were cheering, laughing and loving it. Please help...I've been teaching for nearly 20 years and I've loved it. But it's time for a change. I love children's books and I love promoting reading for pleasure. Somehow I've been a leader of maths in schools and beyond for about 15 years too. What can I do next?? What jobs are out there? Help!

I've been rewatching Marvel films in timeline order and I'm up to Cap America Winter Soldier and I think it's quite easily the best up to that point and maybe the high point of all the films. A proper film that is just a good, solid story.
