I'm hoping my new influx of followers isn't expecting much in the way of archaeology right now-- currently my academic work is focused on research supervision development and pedagogy, which unfortunately makes for less exciting content 😅

I don't even mind that I'm in the house working on a report on a Saturday night because I walked through York at 3:30 this afternoon and I was ready to launch myself into space. Apparently all the council and private car parks are full and they've started letting people park on the Knavesmire 🙃

Working on a primarily qualitative postdoc has made me learn many new things about myself. Like the fact that I simply cannot stand NVivo, and wish its inventors nothing but the most inconvenient life.

I know I've truly made salmon/fish knowledge my brand now because the quizmaster at my local regularly adds fish related questions just to try and trip me up.

Gonna make a concerted effort to actually post here more, but I can't make any promises 😅
