I have a lot of weird feelings about MONSTER TOWER. Namely that I realized very soon that the scope of the project is just TOO much for me to realistically be able to work on. I wanted to do animations and stuff and it'd be completely unfeasible on top of an animation job as well.

I've actually completed the introduction to coding course I posted a bit ago. But now I'm going over it again and taking notes, to make sure I really grasp all the information. After that, I'll be moving on to more practical exercises.

Cool flying bug... might need some tweaks yet, but I'm fond of the shading I did.

One of the things that happened while I was on vacation is that I've encountered a number of people who'll thoughtlessly ask an AI to do the thinking for them. In a way, I feel inspired to make more art because of this. I was in a bit of an artistic rut before my vacation, but I think it's over.

I think in this coming year I wanna post a lot more of the stuff I make. In the past I kinda kept everything to myself and close friends until I had somethink worth showing. So here's a number of concepts for the playable bugs in the game I wanna make.

This year I wanna start learning programming/gamedev proper. Here's a mockup I made for what I'd optimally want to make.

Finished Metal Max Returns. Truly fantastic game. This should be held in the same regard as the SNES RPG greats like Chrono Trigger, FFVI and the like. It's baffling to me that I've never heard of this before deciding to play it on a whim. Definitely give it a try if you're an RPG fiend like me.
