One of the most dreadful things about learning how to make games is the realization I need to learn how to make music as well. Equally a skill I'm learning from nothing. Growing up, nobody really seemed to share their musical interests with me, so I feel particularly stunted there.

Probably my favorite of the space bugs I've designed so far; the Plaguespreader.

Designing some more bug enemies for my game. The shades guy is based on Lorenzo Maggiore, a pathetic loser who invented the Bug-A-Salt, a toy for manchildren. The rifle is also based on this toy, mixed with a 40k space marine rifle.

The angry part of Bluesky remembered KOSA (now under the Kids Internet and Digital Safety Act, or H.R. 7757) exists but rather yell at you I'll say: If you have REALLY bad anxiety (like me!), you can call your reps after hours! Voicemail counts! The site 5Calls give you a script to read off of:

Experimenting with how I'd like my game to look. Annoyingly the standard 16x16 tiles are a little too small to make the characters look nicely, so I'm gonna try 20x20 tiles, which might bite me in the ass later on.
