chicken! my parents are raising chickens and this year was really good, lots of tiny chicks hatched :3 you see those stripes? its only a few days old :D the only ones that are hatching poorly are the peacocks. (there is only one hatchling!) anyway. im using this as a sorta life update.

using the same workflow/shortcuts as overworked industry artists isn't going to improve your work the way some people on here would have u believe. it's okay to NOT want to constantly use references or trace. its okay to paint intuitively, improve your skill through practice and loose interpretation

This talk lately of Final Fantasy being the true original has me rolling my eyes into the back of my head. Final Fantasy, like anything, has always been constructed from elements found in other media and mythology. It’s just mainly sourced from a culture you weren’t as familiar with.
