We’re getting dessert after the Ren Fair… and the cost added up to $71. I *knew* a $19 dessert flight, a cinnamon roll, and four bottled drinks shouldn’t have been that much. I even had her CHECK IT! She said “No, that’s right.”

Currently laying in bed having imaginary arguments with imaginary people while I’m trying to go to sleep. I really need anxiety brain to. Just. Stop.

My feet have been killing me. KILLING ME. For about a month now. My podiatrist can’t see me until the end of the month. 😭😭😭 I hate my body so much. It’s basically falling apart and I’m not even 40 yet.

I just had an observation with my worst class. Y’all. They were so bad. I couldn’t get them to be quiet or sit down. They were running and chasing. I would stop two students from misbehaving and two more would start up. They have no respect for me at all. I just sat and cried after they left.

Trying to put up my holiday decorations and I found out that NONE of the lights on my garland are working right. One strand literally has a hole burned through the plug where the fuse overheated. Oops! I guess that’s why you can’t plug too many in at once!

Found out yesterday that our art budget is $500 for 1,000+ students. Ugh. I know some teachers get much less, but still, this is ridiculous.

Tomorrow is my district’s first day back for teachers and I am not ready. Can I have 8 more weeks of summer please?

Today I’m “I went to the podiatrist” old. I have a bone spur in one foot, plantar fasciitis in both feet, and had to get a cortisone shot in both feet. Yay middle age.

I think I’ve somehow become burnt out on cross stitch. I have a project that I *have* to finish before May and I just stare at it and find something else to do on my phone. 😩

Trying to hot glue artwork to butcher paper for the art show and the fucking wireless hot glue gun won’t work while it’s charging. Fucking hell. Now I have to sit here and wait for it to charge! Please give me my classic wired glue gun back.
