Suzerain is a really good game but it did call me a "centrist" so I will be leaving to meditate on my mistakes for the rest of the year

I think I'm about done with Silksong. I haven't gotten to the Citadel yet but I don't think I will. I think this eventually ends up in a pile with Hollow Knight, Outer Wilds, and other games that I know matter to a lot of people but are simply not for me.

I'm still not sure if I like Silksong. If you're not already super into the genre, I'd say skip it - the difficulty is way overtuned. If you are, I think you'll have a good time with it.

A really long time ago, I started work on a Metroidvania/RPG hybrid set on the Web of 2007. For a variety of reasons, that project never finished. I've slowly started adding content to it again, though, and I hope to maybe finally put a bow on it before the end of the year.

Health update: My tummy is no longer upset but in an unrelated incident I hurt my hecking pawsies. To summarise, I continue to suffer for the sins of the world

Silksong first impression: The graphics and audio design are wonderful, they completely nailed it. Love these little critters. Gameplay... ehhh? This is giving me Dark Souls vibes, where everything is weighty and ponderous, yet requires twitch reflexes. I'll stick with it for a little longer though.
