I also saw The Secret Agent (2025 movie). Pretty good, if very messy. It is my opinion that movies really need to *earn* runtimes longer than ~110 minutes, and I feel this doesn't. Game concept: "Resource Exhaustion," an RPG where every single action has a limited set of uses (including all attacks, opening doors, saying things in dialogue, etc.) Sort of an exercise in making the first playthrough as stressful as possible, but then later ones become more like routing puzzles!

Scream Jam is over! Cascade Failure came in 22nd out of 956 entries in the Story category, and 174th overall. I think that's respectable for a huge mainstream jam like that, especially given the bizarre writing and alienating premise.

There were only ~6 years between the release of the final operating system based on MS-DOS, and the announcement of the iPhone. That really feels wrong. (Windows ME was in late 2000, the iPhone was in early 2007.)

My usual time getting up on the weekends is 09:15. This is because, when I was in elementary school, there was a cartoon on at 09:30 that I was allowed to watch on Saturday. This hasn't been relevant for an extremely long time, but still, I get up at 09:15. Funny how that goes.
