I've been playing Metaphor: ReFantazio and while I like the hook of the plot, a magically enforced vote on the next king, the rest of the writing is a real mess. Its constantly contradicting itself, skips over very important details, and is philosophically wishy-washy.

A few years ago I spent $20 on 256 bytes of memory. Yes, a full 2048 bits. Now that's some bad RAM prices.

With the RAM shortages and financial risks, I think developers should target lower spec, inexpensive systems. This is something that game companies in developing markets have had to deal with for decades and people should learn from them. What I'm saying is 2027 will be the year of the famiclone.
