Good God we’ve somehow chronicled the Mets via Faith and Fear in Flushing for 21 years. What an insane idea — at the beginning I wondered if we’d stick to this new thing for 21 days. Also: You’d think they’d have won a single lousy title in all that time. Sheesh!

Yesterday, five-year-old Liam and his dad Adrian were released from Dilley detention center. I picked them up last night and escorted them back to Minnesota this morning. Liam is now home. With his hat and his backpack.
