My kids know an American flag when they see one – but they don't yet know all that it represents. When they're old enough, here is what I'm going to tell them:

I'm Dr. Annie Andrews. I’m a pediatrician, not a politician. But either way I know how to handle people who are full of sh*t. Today I am announcing my campaign for US Senate to replace Lindsey Graham. Share this if you're with me.

When Half The Supreme Court Has Book Deals With The Same Publisher, Who Decides Its Cases?

Last week's Monday order list included this unusual admission: five Justices recused from Baker v. Coates, a silly plagiarism case involving Ta-Nehisi Coates (that both lower courts dismissed).

Elon Musk recently posted on his site that another lawyer and I are “undermining civilization.” He goes on to ask if we suffered childhood trauma and concludes by suggesting we are suffering from “generational trauma.” This is my response.

"For something objectively unimportant to drive so many of us insane—to obsession, distraction—deeper forces than mere logic must be in play. (To remind: Sean’s essay in Publisher’s Weekly got coverage in two separate New York Times pieces.)" 💯💯💯

How did I get to be [cough] years old without hearing “Hard Candy Christmas”? Both the Dolly and Reba versions are amazing! Why don’t they get played by all the places that have Jingle Bell Rock on repeat? Merry Christmas (hard candy version or otherwise) to all who celebrate 🎄
