Just recently beat the game and this came out of nowhere for me. I remember seeing the initial trailer in 2020 and thinking "oh great another generic space shooter but this one has a little girl" and that was it with small bits. How wrong I was, its a fantastic game and the end was very emotional.

Got my controller in finally from #Commodore and set about to testing it with some games. For action games the joystick is PRECISE! For more strategic games it almost moves too quickly through menus but i believe it can be adjusted. Also played Windigo Production's Rise of Babylon. Fun little game!

The image may not make it obvious but trust me, #banquetforfools is fantastic and I highly recommend it for anyone into early Y2K CRPGs. Try the demo first to get an idea of the combat system. READ the in-game guides or else you'll be a bit lost. But if it clicks man its just oozing charm.

Banquet for Fools recently released and it feels like a mixture of Morrowind meets the Dark Crystal and plays like a 2001 CRPG. And I mean all of that in the best possible way. Also the trailer starts with a Saxon Lyre, it speaks to me.

Session 8 of #Dolmenwood complete and in all it went well. The playstyle is still new for some players and I even find myself getting caught up on using a pre-written adventure on the fly. Still good news is the players made it out even if a grimalkin is now purple and the other has a mossy patch.

Finally the People's eyes have begun to open! Lo and see that Pokemon itself is good and it is GameFreak that is the problem. For years I have scorned GameFreak but alas the People did cast their anger upon Nintendo. I mean like they give you reasons too but not for Pokemon! GameFreak sucks butt.

After our 6th session of Dolmenwood we had our Magician stay cooped up in the party's rented Cabin studying a new spell from a stolen spellbook. The party split up to take on two separate mini-sessions getting to the bottom of a smuggling ring in Prigwort. Both minis are done and now on to the full!
