I hear today is daughter's day. I waited 26 years to have a daughter. Now I have two. I'm so proud of the lovely young women they are. How much resilience they have. How much happier they are now being their true selves. I really hope they are allowed a future. Trans rights are human rights.

Pay attention to the way Trump & RFK Jr speak about people with autism and other disabilities. They act like it’s a fate worse than death. Like we’re an aberration that must be “corrected”. Like disability is a failure that is not to be tolerated. It’s not compassion, it’s eugenics.

I try really hard to keep it together for my kids and friends while also worried about my future as a disabled person. It's attacks on all sides. My adult kids show that despair at an age they should be enjoying their lives. Us moms can't be the only ones doing this anymore. We need you. Show up.
