Niche posting, but I just integrated Dialogue System for Unity by @pixelcrushers.bsky.social & voice acting using @fmodstudio.bsky.social Programmer Instruments by registering a custom Lua function so it comes up in the drop down menu in the dialogue nodes. I feel like a GOD. #indiegamedev #FMOD

Not only is this asset great for all of your #gamenarrative needs, but creator Mr Tony Li has responded super quick to my really specific questions about saving and localisation. Legend!

OK so there's a point where you move from being a "praying the right tutorial exists" dev to a "read the docs and harass people on help forums" dev and actually I have only moved to the latter in the last 6 months (been doing #gamedev and off for about 3 years).

Yet again, we can't afford to let LLMs become a source of epistemic grounding for society.
