It is so hard to advertise paid #DnD games. Its a hurdle to convince some that paying is actually a great way to ensure consistency and experience, and since there's so many other paid DMs hustling out there, it's difficult to get any traction. What might convince you to pay for D&D? For science.

I have a bone to pick with the advertising people for Sesame Street. Just watched Follow That Bird, the 1985 movie starring Big Bird. Nice movie, and an interesting snapshot into the state of the show during that era. You have Bert and Ernie, the Count, Oscar, Grover, Cookie Monster... even Telly!

I have a ton of folders filled with character art that I use for tokens in D&D. Most are organized by broad groups - dragons, fiends, fey, etc. My tiefling folder is like, almost a whole gigabyte One in particular ended up being oddly specific, though: "Bat Creatures".

After powering through to finish Act 1 of PF: Wrath of the Righteous, I've gotta say I'm starting to enjoy it. Yes, the UI is headache inducing, and yes certain other aspects are arbitrary or clunky. The writing, though? Top-fucking-notch! Bravo to the writers and VAs. Loving the story so far.

Pathfinder: WotR has me questioning how I ever fucking played PF1e. It's an immensely frustrating system, and on top of having garbage UI, the gameplay flaws greatly hinder the story they're trying to tell. Example: when resting, you're supposed to prepare new spells for the next adventuring day.

There's something I like about the aesthetic of early 80s anime girls with prominent noses and long faces. Not sure what it is or why it fell out of fashion, but you don't really see people draw in this style anywhere anymore. I miss seeing it.
