I finally, finally rolled credits on Starfield today after about a year and a half of dipping in and out of my first playthrough. What a beautiful, rich game. I knew I'd love it from its announcement's first frame, so this isn't a surprise, but I mean it. Final playtime on playthrough #1: 218 hours.

This has been my most-anticipated Starfield mod for a while. Feels like the first non-BGS project that hits (or exceeds!) the quality bar of the main game. It's a taste of things to come, I bet. It's really cool. Picked this up immediately, gonna tool around with it tomorrow morning.

Went through a jump point in Star Citizen for the first time, felt very surreal to zoom out the in-game map and see a second star system. Worked pretty seamlessly. Not everything in 4.0 is perfect, but it's way better than 3.0 was on its first day - I'm so excited to really dig in to Pyro.

The verdict is in: Persona 5 (Royal) is one of the best video games that I've ever played and I've already purchased Metaphor with deadly intent to play it as soon as I get home from work today.

I can't stop thinking about that Intergalactic trailer. I've never been a Naughty Dog guy, but I've always been a space game guy, so this is what's finally getting me to give them a shot. Happy eighth anniversary to my favorite game of all time, Final Fantasy XV. Its troubles have made my heart grow fonder, and turning it over in my head for this many years has resulted in feeling something close to a kinship with it. A beautiful, wonderful, singular game.

Got to see Omnipotent Youth Society play at Terminal 5 in NYC a few weeks ago. I might've been the only person at the entire venue that couldn't speak Mandarin fluently, but that just encourages me to keep learning. They're the best band in the world. I love them dearly.
