Oh I know *all* abt the Famous #Ork "Biker Circus" Wound Allocation shenanigans. One of the best Sportsmen, #40k or otherwise, i've ever met ran just, the best Ork army during this period. Tho could tell when he'd had enough of someone; Nobz Biker Circus list would come out & the PAIN would begin.

To put this into context for folks who ever played in the "bad ol'days" before 8th (as I know there's plenty of you folks these days!). Imagine trying to play 10th Ed #40k, with the 8th Ed #Orks Codex. It would *mostly* work right, but your points values'd be borked & your rules interactions V-wonky

This is not a "Modern 40k gets a full suite of codex's every edition" thing. I've memories of playing a regular who was a big Blood Angels fan & them struggling with nothing until the White Dwarf Codex update. But this isn't a sub-faction, it's friggin' ORKS; missed technically 2.5 Rules Editions!
