Saw "Train Dreams." It's the most "dad" movie ever, but in a good way. The film is also gorgeous, beautiful cinematography. It's light on plot, which is sort of the point, though it does meander a bit at the end. I recommend it if you're looking for a meditative film about grief and loss

I was curious about the "rude" label that people have been complaining about, and it does seem pretty arbitrary and stifling. Yeah, most of the people who get that label are being rude lol, but i can see why thats a turn off. Blocking should be sufficient, not an outside label

After scouring this website, checking hashtags, key words, and alt text, I've finally gotten the bulk of robot/mecha artists on bluesky. I've been obnoxious about advertising the starter packs too, so if you've been annoyed about that/muted me, sorry. I'll cool it for now, until next time!

Utterly insane how Bsky doesnt have images in DMs by this point. I've also been informed that private accounts are a big deal too

I don't think this is too off base in the sense that this platform is very white. It speaks to a broader aspect of how people use social media too, tho. I use bsky almost exclusively for art. I want to see more art from brown and black creators, not their pithy observations on the flavor of the day
