All the coverage of #artemisII and the amazing crew made me think about the time I met Sally Ride. I was a senior in high school, interning at Hasbro as part of a senior project. They were doing a collaboration with Ride as part of a STEM initiative and she was speaking at the headquarters.

I love a boarding school book but I would have absolutely hated living with most people in my high school.

YA books are not 'dirty.' Even the ones that include sex. Some readers might not be ready for that, and I think there's a real conversation in having more options for upper MG/lower YA, but calling some books 'clean' ain't fucking it.

Incredibly moving to watch THE LIBRARIANS with PRH colleagues (even virtually) with librarian Martha Hickson and director Kim A. Snyder. If you haven't watched yet, my goodness, this is important, especially for the people in your life who don't live books night and day.

I didn't watch the original X-Files and am a scaredy cat in general but DEEPLY EXCITED FOR ALL THESE TALENTED PEOPLE.

I am one of the people who helped edit the last three books in the series, and I agree with this. JKR has shown that she enjoys her cruelty, and no matter how much I loved the books back then, I can't watch this.

My 3yo has taken to asking “what are your letters?” (aka what letters start your names) and “what are your colors?” (aka what are your favorite colors), which I think are great ways to introduce yourself.
