i made this box for this super cool panel i got at the thrift store! the dials are high precision potentiometers that are solid metal and make nice clanking sounds as you go all the way around and increment the larger ring

this works! its not water resistant so thats limiting but the nice green paper covers book board easily. i only have 0.2mm board so its a little too thin for a book cover in its own. i can laminate it a few times but i'd like to find a supply of heavier board that doesnt require buying 100kg

turned on pronouns in microsoft 365. it said it would take up to 7 hours (a new weird timeframe). before this you could set your pronouns but they would not show. it seems the main use for them in MS is for copilot. i cannot wait for it to parse and use "any/all" in transcripts. i hate saas

i wonder if anyone has used vulcanized fiber/paper for bookbinding! it would make a great board for exposed stitch binding to give a soft, flexible, chemical resistant cover without a need to cover it. or you could cover books with it and they would also be extra protected.
