I’ve seen a lot of people posting about Dan’s obsession with bootleg shirts. As his yoga teacher as well as his friend, I also got to see Dan wear many of these shirts (as well as his beloved Penn Relays shirt collection) to the studio, where he was happy to have a conversation about them anytime.

From 2005-2011, I first wrote for, and then edited, a blog that covered news and events in and around Philadelphia. That alone gives me more journalism experience than the EIC of CBS News.

I think my favorite part of parenting in December is paying for two full weeks of daycare when they’re only going to be open for 3.5 days.

One of my most frequent rants is how you can draw a straight line from the premature termination of Reconstruction to where we are today.
