Given how I feel as a Spaniard, I suspect the pain of losing the World Cup would have been much greater than the satisfaction of winning. Prospect theory vindicated, I guess.

I am so, so sad to report that Yousof voluntarily returned to Iran this week, along with his wife and children. While they seem safe and relieved, it is deeply distressing for his professors and friends who believe that Yousof and his work (and people like him) can help to improve global relations.

After returning to the US, I've continued using the same mouthwash I used in Spain. In Spain, the brand recommends 10 ml for 1 minute. In the US, 20 ml for 30 seconds. Even mouthwashes reflect the two different ways of living.
