I signed multiple contracts this year that said that no AI can be used by any party in any capacity during both the making of the game or after the delivery of assets. Apart from its many ethical issues, the legal reality of genAI in IP law is a major concern for an increasing number of companies.

If you literally can't afford shit, you don't get to steal anything. But also if you have to use any form of LLM for productivity things? Where on earth are your producers, how many are there and how overloaded are they?

The most annoying thing about genAI is that eventually the genAI proponents are going to get to the end of the novelty of it, realize its limitations, and then claim to be the innovators of doing things the long way without genAI. Call it "slow productivity" or something.
